Good communication and its role in teaching
To my mind an excellent relationship between a teacher and students is constructed on a strong basis of confidence, observance and good understanding. To efficiently measure trainees' desires and needs, the tutor has to initially comprehend her/his students and where they are originating from. The teacher should be the first to initiate great communication, as not all parents and students will reveal that initiative. The tutor needs to also be prepared to inform about her/his own hopes to the students; with a sincere attitude toward her/his trainees and showing a care for their learning and their lives is very important when doing this. If the teacher and trainees understand each other's goals and viewpoints, the building elements of mutual trust are developed. The instructors and learners strive for and should have respect as people and personalities; tutors likewise look for respect in the work-related meaning however should beware how they go about it. As a tutor, I will be in a position of administration, however I do not wish to be an autocratic or tyrant. I will likewise be able to be a good friend and confidante for many of my trainees, but I do not want to cross over the line of professionalism.
Teaching, learning and experience
I am sure that in order to encourage knowing in the finest method possible, the mentor needs to be passionate about the topic being studied, even if her or his students are not. The teacher needs to be the trainer for the trainees, and emphasise the positives about each student's work in a sincere method, alongside constructive critical remarks. She or he needs to be willing to compromise and hear, yet be decisive in her or his pledges and choices.
An instructor is not simply a teacher but a lifelong student. For that reason, she/he must also keep to create her/his wealth of professional knowledge, taking additional courses, improving her or his degree and going to workshops and conferences with fellow teachers to interchange concepts and doctrines and find out unknown things in order to give her or his students the most updated info available.
My philosophy of education is based upon what I know and have experienced before in my work. I make sure that my teaching approach will change as I find out more as a young professional. That is among the benefits of being human; we often make mistakes, or discover something new, and make a change for the much better. I am excited about the upcoming opportunities.
